那米比亞守宮 Chondrodactylus angulifer angulifer x 2
純粹是對地棲守宮的興趣才接手這一對可愛的小朋友, Chondrodactylus屬於西南非所謂的Pachydactylus (厚趾虎)屬群, 在過去被認為與Colopus與Palmatogecko兩個屬因具有退化的趾下結構, 一個與沙漠適應相關的性狀, 而被認為具有較近的親緣關係, 不過Lamb & Bauer (2006)的研究指出這個性狀是獨立獲得的獨立衍徵, 也就是說厚趾虎群中由樹上成為地棲的沙漠性種類牽涉了三次的獨立演化事件.
