是這樣的, Varanus salvator cumingi生蛋了, 而且一直生一直生(才四顆). 我們知道很多人可能會開始問說: 賣不賣? 面交嗎? 多少錢? 但我們怎麼可能做這種事. 自從科摩多龍處女產子這種事居然可以登在Nature以後, 我們當然就會發夢, 看看這些蛋蛋會不會孵幾篇SCI文章出來. 目前看來有些蛋成形, 而且一副很有希望的樣子, 問題是要釐清一個雌性個體的蛋是孤雌生殖還是兩性生殖來源並不是容易的事. 倫敦動物園那隻科摩多龍是有明確的引進歷史的動物, 但是台灣這些流通來流通去的巨蜥個體, 根本沒有人知道牠們的性史, 倒底是在野外被捕捉前就交配過了? 還是在野動業者手上和同種或不同亞種的個體交配? 還是到台灣之後與其它個體交配? 這是完全無法知道的. 有關澤巨蜥的懷孕與人工養殖狀態下的生殖文獻其實並不是非常多, 連clutch size的報導也很少. 已知的科學報導開始出現在1980年代左右的Salamandra與Hamadryad這兩個期刊上, 看起來要掌握孵化溫溼度控制得先唸唸書了.Andrews, H.
